Renting a Private Estate for the Masters Tournament in Augusta

Each April, the world's most prestigious golf tournament draws thousands of patrons to Augusta, Georgia, and the surrounding riverfront communities of North Augusta, South Carolina. For corporate groups, executives, and private families seeking an alternative to crowded hotels, renting a private estate during Masters Week offers space, privacy, and a level of hospitality that no hotel can match. The right property — minutes from Augusta National Golf Club, with a pool, chef's kitchen, and room to entertain — transforms a tournament trip into a week-long luxury experience.

Location is the single most important factor when choosing a Masters Week rental. Neighborhoods like Pecan Grove, just across the Savannah River in North Augusta, place guests within a short drive of the gates of Augusta National while offering larger lots, quieter streets, and a more residential feel than the congested corridors near Washington Road. A well-located estate reduces daily commute stress and gives your group a calm retreat between rounds.

Beyond square footage, the best Masters Tournament rentals distinguish themselves through service. A concierge-style estate — staffed with a private chef, house managers, and daily housekeeping — lets patrons focus entirely on the tournament and their guests. Look for properties that offer flexible check-in dates aligned with the tournament schedule, outdoor entertaining spaces for evening gatherings, and a booking process that screens for fit rather than simply taking the highest offer. This preserves the exclusivity and discretion that premium patrons expect.

Because demand far exceeds supply for the week, serious renters should begin their search well in advance and be prepared to submit a private inquiry rather than a standard booking request. An inquiry-based application — where you provide your party size, desired dates, and offer — allows the estate's management to confirm availability and tailor the stay to your needs. For the 2027 Masters Tournament, Pecan Grove Estates is accepting inquiries now for its two private estates in North Augusta, each offering full concierge service and easy access to Augusta National.
